The National Council for Reflexology Educators (“NCRE”) is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that emerged in January 2016 with the intention of supporting the needs of reflexology teachers, schools and educators. This will be done by offering educational resources, forums, conferences, online training, webinars, and a voice at legislative proceedings.
The mission is to set national standards for reflexology education and to recognize educators and programs that meet those standards.
The purpose is to strengthen reflexology education. NCRE offers support for reflexology educators and programs in the USA.
To achieve these purposes, NCRE shall:
Develop national standards for educators at accepted industry standards based on the results of the most current NCRE nationwide survey.
Nationally certify Educators (as defined in Article III) who meet NCRE’s requirements in accordance with those set in the Policies and Procedures Manual.
Assist in upholding standards to safeguard the education of students and provide public safety through the recognition of well-trained reflexology educators.
Act as a network for reflexology educators.
Develop a baseline curriculum, thus creating national standards, based on the results of the most current NCRE nationwide survey.
Approve those reflexology programs meeting the NCRE baseline curriculum standards.
